Styles of Worship
8.00 am Holy Communion at Holy Trinity Church, Lickey is a traditional spoken service with no music. On the 3rd Sunday of each month, the Book of Common Prayer is used.
9.00 am Holy Communion at St. Catherine’s Church, Blackwell with hymns provides a familiar framework each week and a welcome to all ages by providing a Sunday School whilst the service is in progress.
10.30 am A more informal, attractive, and inclusive service for all ages held at Holy Trinity, Lackey. A combination of traditional hymns and more modern worship songs are used together with aspects of the Anglican liturgy. The 1st Sunday of the month is a Communion service and the 2nd Sunday is “All Age Worship” aimed specifically at including children and young people into the worship. On other Sundays, children usually leave the service to go to “Sunday Club”.
7.00 am Morning prayer for the early risers.
10.00 am Holy Communion at Holy Trinity Church, Lickey. A traditional communion service with no music.
6.00 pm On the last Sunday of the month – Open Worship, offering a variety of musical styles and themes to help worshipers draw closer to God. Venue alternates between Holy Trinity, Lickey and St. Catherine’s, Blackwell. See Diary for informaiton.
